Is the World Series of Poker Being Played This Year?

The World Series of Poker is being played this year, but its legitimacy is in question.

For many years, the World Series of Poker was considered the richest poker tournament in the world. However, in recent years it has come under fire for allegedly being a rigged game.

In May of this year, high-stakes player Phil Ivey claimed that the WSOP was rigged in his favor.

Ivey’s allegations led to a review of the WSOP’s tournament structure by the Nevada Gaming Control Board. The review found numerous problems with how the WSOP was run, such as how players were guaranteed spots in certain events and how there was an imbalance in prize money given to top finishers.

While the review found some problems with the WSOP’s tournament structure, it did not find any evidence that the event was rigged in Ivey’s favor. In fact, officials from the WSOP have since argued that they have taken steps to make sure that the event is fair for all players.

Despite these assurances, many people remain skeptical about whether or not the WSOP is a legitimate poker tournament. This skepticism may lead to a decline in attendance at future WSOP tournaments, which would be a shame because the event is one of the most prestigious poker tournaments in the world.
