Is There Live Poker in Atlantic City?

Atlantic City has long been known as a gaming destination, with casinos, racetracks, and other attractions comprising a significant part of the economy. However, live poker tournaments have been slow to take hold in the city.

This may be due in part to Atlantic City’s relatively small population and its distance from major population centers. However, in recent years live poker tournaments have proliferated in other states with casino economies, such as Nevada and New Jersey.

While there is no evidence that live poker tournaments are currently being held in Atlantic City, this does not mean that they are not possible or that they would not be welcomed by the city’s casino operators. The primary obstacle to live poker tournaments in Atlantic City may be the city’s small population and its distance from major population centers.

However, if casinos in other states with larger populations began hosting live poker tournaments, this would likely present an opportunity for Atlantic City to become a major player in the poker tournament industry.
