What Are Blackjack Cards Worth?

Blackjack is a popular casino game that is played with two hands of cards. The object of the game is to score as many points as possible by drawing cards and adding them to your hand, until you reach 21 points.

The Ace is worth one point, while the 2, 3, 4 and 5 are worth face value. The 6, 7 and 8 are worth nothing.

The value of a card depends on its rank and suit. A card with a higher rank (i.e. an Ace) will be worth more than a card with a lower rank (i.e. a 2).

Cards in the same suit will also be worth more than cards in different suits. For example, a Jack is worth more than an Ace in any suit, but less than a 10 in clubs.

The final score for a hand is the sum of all the cards in that hand, including any wildcards (Aces or Kings). If two players have the same sum of points, then the player with the higher-ranking card wins the hand.
