What Are the Basic Rules of Blackjack?

The basic rules of blackjack are as follows:

1. The player must place an initial bet, and then draw cards until they have two cards that total fifteen or less.

(Aces are wild, and can be used to replace any other card.).

2. The player then must decide whether to hold or double their original bet.

If they choose to hold, they keep their original bet and draw another card; if they choose to double, they add their original bet to the current total and draw another card.

3. If the player has a fourteen or higher card, they must hit (stand and lose) or stand (continue playing).

If the player has a thirteen or lower card, they may hit (stand and win), or stand (continue playing).

4. If the player hits, they receive the sum of all their cards, plus any bonus given for a Blackjack, as well as any additional money wagered by the dealer.

If the player stands, they receive 0 for a Blackjack and any additional money wagered by the dealer.
