A straight is also not as strong as a four-of-a-kind or five-of-a-kind because the high card (6) can be beaten by a two or a three.
Flush: A flush is a hand with five cards that are all of the same suit (clubs, diamonds, hearts, spades). Flushes are considered one of the stronger hands in poker because they have multiple potential high cards (7s, 8s, 9s).
A flush also has more potential combinations than a straight (two clubs and two spades, for example).
Full House: A full house is a hand with three cards of the same rank and two cards of the same suit (three clubs, three diamonds, three hearts). Full houses are considered one of the weaker hands in poker because they have less potential combinations than other hands (two clubs and two spades, for example).
However, full houses still have multiple potential high cards (7s 7d 8s 9d).
