What Does ACR Mean in Poker?

ACP stands for Absolute Correction Point and is a widely used term in poker. It is a mathematical convention that helps players understand the impact of a particular action in a poker hand.

For example, if you are playing Omaha, AQ is a good hand because it has an absolute correction point of -1. If you are playing Texas Hold’em, AK is a bad hand because it has an absolute correction point of +1.

The idea behind ACP is that some hands are worth more than others based on the likelihood of achieving a winning outcome. For example, AQ is worth more in Omaha than in Texas Hold’em because there’s a greater chance of achieving a winning outcome with an Omaha hand than with a Texas Hold’em hand.
