SNG stands for Single-Player-Gambler. In poker, an SNG is a type of tournament where the only way to win is by winning one of the hands that is being played.
There are three different types of SNGs: heads-up, multi-table, and mixed. .
In a heads-up SNG, there are two players playing against each other. In a multi-table SNG, there are multiple players playing against each other at the same time.
In a mixed SNG, there are both heads-up and multi-table formats.
