What Happens if the Dealer Has an Ace in Blackjack?

In blackjack, the player is dealt two cards face down. These cards are known as the “hole cards.” The dealer then deals five face up cards to each player, one at a time.

The player’s goal is to get as close to 21 as possible without going over. If the player has an ace in their hand, they can take any number from 1 to 21 (except 10 and 11), resulting in a “blackjack” score of 21.
