Cockroach Poker is a unique and interesting variation of poker that is played with cockroaches. The object of the game is to win as many hands as possible by making the best possible poker moves. The game is played with a standard 52 card deck, but the cards are divided into two decks, the “in” deck and the “out” deck. The in deck consists of the Ace, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine and Ten cards.
The out deck consists of the Jack, Queen, King and Ace of Spades. There are also two jokers in the deck.
The game is played like regular poker except that there are no face cards. Instead there are cockroaches.
Each player starts with six cockroaches and each turn they can either discard a cockroach or add one to their hand. If a player has two or more cockroaches in their hand at any time they can elect to “flip over” one of their cockroaches and play it as if it were a face card.
There are several different ways to win in Cockroach Poker. One way is to get all your cards to be roaches.
Another way is to get three or more different roaches in your hand at any time. Another way is to get five or more different roaches in your hand at any time.
