Dogs playing poker is a centuries-old tradition that began in China. The game is played with a deck of cards, and the object is to win as many hands as possible.
The traditional way to play is with two players, but the game can also be played with more players.
The first player (the dealer) begins by drawing two cards and placing them face down on the table. The second player then drAWS two cards and places them face up on the table. The dealer then sets two cards face down in front of himself, one card above the other. These are called “hole cards.
” The dealer then sets another card face up in front of himself, called “the top card.” This is the first “pot” or bet.
The game is played like this: The first player must either put another bet (called a “call”), or fold his hand. If the first player calls, the second player then has the opportunity to put in another bet (called a “raise”).
If the second player puts in a bet, the first player has the opportunity to either call or raise again (and so on). If the first player folds, then both players lose their bets.
The object of the game is to make as many hands as possible where you can win all of your bets. For example, if you have a 10 and an 8 in your hand, you can either call or raise with an 8; if you call and somebody else raises with an 8 too, you now have two 10s in your hand and can call again or fold – it’s up to you! If you have a 2 and an 8 in your hand, you can’t do anything – that’s known as being “stuck.” In general, it’s better to fold than to call when you’re stuck because if somebody else calls with something better than what you have, you’ll end up losing even if they don’t have anything better!.
