What Should You Not Do at a Poker Table?

If you are new to poker, or if you are new to poker tables, take some time to learn the basics before playing.

Do not bluff with a hand that you do not believe in. Bluffing will only make you look bad and may even get you called by your opponent.

Do not touch or move any of the chips on the table. This is considered cheating and can get you banned from a table.

Do not make any rude or obscene gestures at your opponent. This will only anger them and may lead to a physical confrontation.

Do not bet more money than you can afford to lose. If you are going to gamble, do so in a way that does not affect other players at the table.
