What’s the Difference Between Blackjack and Blackjack Classic?

In blackjack, players are dealt cards and must choose whether to stand (cancel their current hand and draw another) or take another card. If the player takes another card, they are then given the option to hit or stand (re-raise their bet). If the player hits, they receive two cards, and if they hit again, they receive three cards.

If the player stands, they receive one card and keep their original hand. If the player gets a 21 or better (a “blackjack”), they win the hand.

In blackjack classic, players are not dealt any cards but instead must put money into a pool. The number of hands played is based on how much money has been bet. Each player starts with $5 in their pool and bets $1 per hand. The first player to lose all their money (or surrender) is out of the game.

Hands continue to be played until one player has either lost all of their money or has won all of the hands. In blackjack classic, if a player gets a blackjack (a 21 or better), they receive all of their bet plus an additional $2 for every card over 20 that was played during that hand (an extra $4 for a royal flush).
