Where Do I Put the Ram in 4 Slots?

The 4th slot in a computer system’s RAM (random access memory) is typically used to store temporary information, such as the results of a calculation or the contents of a text file. A RAM disk can provide quick and easy access to frequently used files.

RAM disks can be created on a computer’s hard drive, but they can also be stored on removable media, such as a USB drive. To create a RAM disk, open the computer’s System Tools app and click the Storage tab.

Under Available Storage, click the + button and select Ram Disk from the list of options. Give the Ram Disk a name and choose a location on your computer to save it.

Once you create the Ram Disk, you can use it to store files by clicking the Ram Disk icon in Windows Explorer and selecting the files you want to load into memory. To delete a Ram Disk, select it in Windows Explorer and click the Remove button.
