Why Is Poker Night 2 Unlisted?

Poker Night 2 was initially slated for release on the Wii U, but a few weeks ago Nintendo pulled the game from the eShop without any explanation. This led many to believe that the game may have been cancelled, but recent reports suggest that the game may still be in development and just not ready for release yet.

While it’s still uncertain why Poker Night 2 was pulled from the eShop, it’s possible that Nintendo is waiting for a more perfect moment to release the game. After all, the Wii U is already home to many great poker games, so it may not be necessary to release another one.

However, there’s also a possibility that Nintendo simply doesn’t have enough resources left to develop and release two poker games at once. After all, Poker Night 2 was only announced a few months ago and it would have been a huge undertaking to develop it alongside other new releases like Splatoon 2 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Whatever the case may be, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens next with Poker Night 2. In the meantime, we can all enjoy other great Wii U poker games like Super Smash Bros.

for Wii U and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
