It is still unclear whether or not the Las Vegas poker rooms will reopen. The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) is currently in the process of reviewing the license of the owners of all of the Las Vegas poker rooms, which could take up to a year.
If the poker rooms do not receive a license from the NGCB, they may not reopen. However, some gaming experts believe that if the poker rooms can prove that they are in compliance with all of Nevada’s regulations, they may be allowed to reopen.
In any case, it is still unclear when or if the Las Vegas poker rooms will reopen. Until then, players will have to continue playing at online poker sites or at casinos outside of Las Vegas.
