Did the Vietcong Make Prisoners Play Russian Roulette?

The Vietcong made prisoners play Russian roulette as a form of torture. The prisoners would be asked to choose one of their hands to put in a gun barrel that had been filled with bullets. If the prisoner lost, they would be killed.

If they won, they would be allowed to live. The Vietcong believed that this was a way to terrify the prisoners and make them give up information about their comrades.
