How Do I Block Mail Slots?

Blocking mail slots is an effective way to protect your computer from unwanted or unsolicited email. Mail slots are specific areas on a computer where email messages can be stored.

By blocking these areas, you can prevent unwanted emails from being sent to your computer.

To block mail slots:

1. Open the Control Panel.
2. Under the System and Security section, click on the Mail icon.
3. In the Email Accounts list, select the account you want to block mail slots for.

4. Under the Action menu, click on Block Communication with this Server (Windows) or Block Communication with this Server (Mac).
5. If you want to unblock mail slots later, select the account and click on Unblock Communication with this Server (Windows) or Unblock Communication with this Server (Mac).
