SSDs are a newer technology and not all computers have them. If your computer does not have an SSD, it has a hard drive. You can find out how many SSD slots are on your computer by opening the computer case, looking at the motherboard, and finding the number of PCI Express slots. The number of PCI Express slots will be followed by an “x4” in parentheses.
For example, if there are two PCI Express slots, the one with the “x4” will be labeled as a “2x PCI Express Slot.” If you have an SSD, the number of “SSD” will be next to the number of “PCI Express Slot.”.
