Blackjack is a casino game that is played with a deck of 52 cards. A player receives two cards face down, and then must either hit or stand.
If the player hits, they receive points based on the rank of the card they hit. If the player stands, they receive no points. .
There are 11 points in each rank, meaning that a 2 would give the player 2 points, a 3 would give the player 3 points, and so on up to a 10 which would give the player 10 points. If the player gets a card that is higher than their original bet, they lose their original bet and earn the additional points for that rank.
For instance, if a player bets $5 and gets an ace of spades which is worth 10 points, they would lose their $5 but would also earn 10 points for that rank.
The game continues until either one person reaches 21 points or all players have lost. In this case, the game is over and whoever has the most money at the end wins.
