How Will You Cut the T Slots in a Milling Machine?

The T slots in a milling machine are used to cut the material that the milling machine is working with. The slot is cut perpendicular to the direction of the saw blade and therefore, the material being cut is forced through the slot at an angle.

The angle at which the material is forced through the slot can be controlled by altering the depth of the slot or by using a shield.

If you are milling metal, you will need to use a carbide-tipped saw blade in order to make accurate cuts. If you are milling wood, you may be able to use a standard wood saw blade.

In either case, it is important to keep an eye on the depth of the cuts that you are making so that your material does not get stuck in the T slots.
