Is Heartland Poker Tour Coming Back?

With the success of the inaugural Heartland Poker Tour, it was no surprise to see a follow-up event announced in early 2014. The second edition of the tour is scheduled to resume on April 20th and will feature a prize pool of $100,000. Eighteen tour stops will be held in nine cities across the U.

S., with a total of 1,600 participants expected to compete for the top prizes.

The tournament schedule is as follows:

April 20 – Omaha, NE
April 21 – Des Moines, IA
April 24 – Grand Rapids, MI
April 25 – Cleveland, OH
April 26 – Indianapolis, IN
April 27 – Columbus, OH
April 29 – Toledo, OH
May 1 – Fort Worth, TX
May 2 – Austin, TX
May 5 – Oklahoma City, OK
May 6 – Tulsa, OK
May 8 – Salt Lake City, UT

Given that the first Heartland Poker Tour was such a success, it’s no surprise that a follow-up event has been announced. With 18 tour stops across 9 cities and 1,600 players competing for top prizes, there is sure to be plenty of action for poker fans everywhere.
