What Are the Card Numbers for Blackjack?

Blackjack is a card game that can be played with two to twenty players. In blackjack, each player is dealt two cards face down. The player then flips over the top card of their deck and looks at it. If the number on the top card of their deck matches the number on the card they flipped over, they keep that card and add it to their hand. If it does not match, they discard the top card of their deck and draw another one. The next player then flips over the next card in their deck, and so on.

The goal of blackjack is to get as close to 21 as possible without going over. When someone gets close to 21, they either “push” or “draw” (based on whether they want to keep or discard a particular card). When someone “pushes,” all other players except for the pusher must either ante (pay) additional money or lose the hand (and any money they’ve already put in). When someone “drAWS,” all other players win whatever money they had put in so far, and the pusher loses everything. .

There are a total of 52 cards in a standard deck of playing cards, including 2 jacks, 2 queens, 2 kings, 1 ace (king), and no twos. In blackjack, the face value of each card is used (2 through 10), with aces being worth 1 point each.

For example, if a player has a 5 and an 8 on their hand, they would add 5 + 8 = 13 points to their score.
