What Are the Payouts for the World Series of Poker?

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world. The event is held annually in Las Vegas and attracts some of the best players in the world.

Players who qualify for the WSOP play in a series of preliminary tournaments to determine their place in the main event. The main event consists of a series of seven poker tournaments, with each tournament awarding a different prize pool.

The overall prize pool for the WSOP is $10 million.

The first place player in each tournament takes home a minimum prize of $1,500, while second and third place players receive $1,000 and $500, respectively. Fourth through 10th place players receive $600, while eleventh through twentieth place players receive $400.

Any player who places inside the top twenty during any given tournament qualifies for a paid trip to the next year’s WSOP.
