What Are the Sections of a Roulette Wheel Called?

As you know, a roulette wheel has 36 numbered sections, which are called “circles.” The numbers on the roulette wheel correspond to the numbers on a bet.

The first number in a circle is green, the second number is red, and so on. .

In American roulette, bets are made on either single numbers (1-18), or combinations (1-36), with each number comprising of either a single bet (1-6) or two bets (7-18 and 19-36). In European roulette, bets are made on multiples of both 1 and 18 (1-12, 1-18, 2-18, 3-18 and so on).

The colors of the numbers in a particular circle correspond to different outcomes in the game of Roulette. For example, the green number in a particular circle indicates that the player has chosen to place a bet on that particular number.

If that number appears as part of a winning combination at the end of the spin of the wheel, then the player will earn a payout. However, if that number does not appear as part of a winning combination at the end of the spin of the wheel, then the player will lose their wager.
