P means to hit, or to stand. The first thing you want to do is decide which hand you want to hit.
If you are going to hit with the bottom hand, then you would put the money in the blackjack table chip slot corresponding to the bottom hand (e.g., if your hand is a two, put the money in the chip slot for a two). .
If you are going to hit with the top hand, then you would put the money in the chip slot for a ten. After putting in your money, make sure that your bet is equal to or greater than your total number of chips (in other words, make sure that your chips equal or exceed your bet).
The next step is to draw cards. If you are going to hit with the bottom hand, then draw two cards.
If you are going to hit with the top hand, then draw one card and replace it with another card from your deck if it is lower than nine (e.g., if your top card is eight, replace it with another card from your deck that is also lower than nine).
After drawing cards, compare them against each other and decide which one(s) you are going to use. For example, if your first card is a seven and your second card is an eight, then you would use the seven as your first card and replace the eight with another card from your deck.
After using one of your cards(s), place any leftover chips in the chip tray at the front of the table. Then take any remaining cards and put them facedown in front of you on the table so that other players can’t see them (unless they are wildcards).
Finally, discard any unwanted cards by placing them facedown in front of any empty space on either side of the table (this space should be adjacent to at least one other player’s discarded cards).
