What Does the Dealer Have to Hit on in Blackjack?

Blackjack is a popular casino game that pits players against each other in a race to 21. In order to win, the player must achieve a higher total score than their opponent.

The object of the game is to collect as many face cards as possible ( Ace through Jack ), while avoiding any cards of the same rank.

The dealer faces up to four players, and although their aim is to make as much money as possible, they also have to ensure that the table is kept running smoothly. This means that they must hit on a particular number more often than not in order to keep the game moving and ensure that all players stay engaged.

In theory, any number between 1 and 18 can be hit on, but as the dealer is dealt an initial hand of five cards, it is usually best to stick with numbers between 1 and 9. This way, the dealer has a better chance of hitting on a low number, which could give them an advantage over their opponents.
