Blackjack is a card game where players attempt to beat the dealer by guessing the number of cards in their hand and taking the lower of the two cards. In order to win, a player must have an even total (two cards of the same rank) or better. This game is played with a standard 52-card deck. There are two main variants of blackjack: basic and variance.
In basic blackjack, each player starts with an equal number of cards and then collects card combinations until they have at least one card that adds up to 21. In variance blackjack, some players start with more or less cards than others and the goal is to capture pairs and three-of-a-kinds as quickly as possible in order to build a high score.
