What Is ITM in Poker?

ITM stands for “In The Money.” ITM refers to any hand that is currently worth at least one dollar.

For example, if you have a pocket pair of Aces, ITM would be any two cards that are both Aces. In certain situations, ITM can also refer to hands that are worth more than one dollar, but not as many as a full house or four of a kind.

ITM hands are often among the most valuable hands in poker, as they frequently result in large payoffs. Because of this, it’s important to know how to spot and play them correctly.

Keep in mind that ITM hands are less common than other types of hands, so don’t expect to see them all the time. Instead, focus on playing the better hands and capitalize on opportunities when they arise.
