The buy-in for the World Series of Poker is $10,000. This is the same buy-in for both the Main Event and the $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em Championship. However, there are a number of other tournaments with different buy-ins.
For example, the $1,500 Omaha Hi-Lo Open has a buy-in of just $25. The $5,000 HORSE event has a buy-in of just $100.
In order to participate in any WSOP event, players must first register online. Once they have registered, they can then make their tournament deposits using one of several methods.
The most common way to deposit is by using a credit or debit card. Players can also deposit by transferring money from their bank account or by using a poker room’s transfer service.
Once players have made their tournament deposits, they can then begin to play in the various WSOP events. The first step is to choose which event they would like to compete in.
Next, players must complete registration and make payment for their entry fee. After that, they can start playing their hands.
