What Is the Rules of Poker?

The Rules of Poker are a set of regulations that govern the game of poker. These rules are enforced by the governing bodies of poker, including the World Poker Tour (WPT), National Poker Tour (NPT), and European Poker Tour (EPT).

The objective of the rules is to ensure a fair and competitive game for all players. These rules prohibit certain actions, such as collusion, and set out specific requirements for each hand, such as the number of cards required to constitute a full hand.

The Rules of Poker are as follows:

– Two cards are dealt face down to each player.
– The player to the dealer’s left starts the game.
– The first player to put all of their remaining cards into the pot wins the hand.
– If there is a tie for first place, a game or hands may be played until one player has won two hands. In this case, the winner is determined by who has the best two-card hand at the end of play. If there is still a tie, then a draw takes place to determine who wins.

– If two or more players have the same two-card hand, then they must go back and forth flipping one card until someone has a different two-card hand. If no one can Flip, then that player(s) must take all of the money in the pot.
– A player must keep at least one card showing at all times during play in order to make a valid hand.
– If a player folds while holding at least one card, they may still win if they have higher quality hands than any other active player(s).
