What Is the Value of Each Card in Blackjack?

There are a total of 52 cards in a deck of playing cards, each with a different value. In blackjack, the face cards (jacks, queens, kings) have the highest value, with a value of 10. followed by the 2s through 10s in order.

Aces have a value of 1. The Lowest valued card is the 2.

The goal of blackjack is to make as many hand points as possible by playing higher valued cards and avoiding playing low valued cards. For instance, if you are playing with a deck of 52 cards and you are dealt an Ace (the highest card in the deck), you would want to avoid playing it and instead play one of your other high-valued cards, such as a Jack, Queen or King.

In general, it is best to stick to playing higher-valued cards when playing blackjack. However, it is important to remember that even if you are dealt a high-value card such as an Ace, it is still possible to lose if you do not make any other appropriate plays during your turn.

So always keep an eye on your opponent’s hands and try to make the most advantageous plays possible.
