Today, there are many variations of roulette, but the basic game remains the same. The player bets on one of 36 numbers that appear on a wheel. The wheel has numbers from 1-36 and is spun around by a croupier (a professional gambler). If the player bets on number 19, for example, their bet would be placed on one of the 36 spots on the wheel that corresponds with number 19.
If the number 19 falls onto their bet, they would win their bet. If the number 19 doesn’t fall onto their bet, they would lose their bet.
