Why Is It Called Russian Roulette?

Russian Roulette is a game where a person is given a firearm and instructed to place it in the mouth of another person, who then pulls the trigger. The aim of the game is for the player to survive for as long as possible. There are various versions of Russian Roulette, with different risks and chances of death. The most popular version is where the gun has six bullets, with the player having to guess which bullet will be next to go off.

If they guess correctly, they survive. If they guess incorrectly, they die. The original Russian Roulette game was invented in 1881 by Charles Gunther and was originally played in bars in Monte Carlo.
