There are streaks in blackjack, but they are not as common as people think. In fact, according to some statistics, the chances of getting a streak in blackjack are about 1 in 21,000.
This means that if you play enough hands, you will eventually get a streak, but it is not something that you should hope for or expect.
The reason that streaks happen is that when you make a bet, you are essentially borrowing money from the house. If you win your next few hands, the house is going to be much more likely to let you keep your bet – which means that they are going to earn more money.
However, if you lose your next few hands, the house is going to be less likely to let you keep your bet – which means that they are going to lose money. And so, over time, the house will start to “push” or “force” you into losing money – and this is how streaks happen.
But even though streaks are relatively rare, they can still be a big advantage when playing blackjack. Streaks tend to increase the chances of hitting a “hard hand” – i.e.
, a hand with a high value – which can lead to bigger wins than would be otherwise possible. So even if streaks aren’t something that you hope for when playing blackjack, they can still be very beneficial in the long run.
