How Does Blackjack Work on DraftKings?

There are three basic types of Blackjack: Single Deck, Double Deck and Triple Deck. The rules for these variations are as follows: Single Deck Blackjack – The player is dealt two cards face down and then drAWS one. Double Deck Blackjack – The player is dealt two cards face down, then drAWS two and looks at the top card of the deck. If it is a double or better, the player keeps the top card of the deck and discards the lower card.

If it is not a double or better, the player loses the top card of the deck and discards the lower card. Triple Deck Blackjack – The same as Double Deck Blackjack, except that if the player has three or more cards of the same rank, they are dealt four cards instead of two. This makes it easier for them to make better hands. .

When playing Blackjack, there are several factors that can affect your chances of winning. The most important of these are your hand size and your bet. Your hand size is simply how many cards you have in your hand. The higher the hand size, the better your chances of winning.

Bets also play an important role in Blackjack. A low bet allows you to get closer to 21 without risking too much money, while a high bet gives you more opportunity to win big if you hit a lucky streak.

The fundamental rule of Blackjack is that if you have an Ace plus one other card higher than any other card in your hand, you’re considered to have a “natural” (or strong) hand. If you have an Ace plus two other cards higher than any other card in your hand, you’ve got a “two-plus” hand, and so on up to a Ace plus five cards which makes you a “five-plus” hand (a “natural” hand with an Ace).

Now let’s take a look at how each type of Blackjack plays out based on these rules:

Single Deck Blackjack: If you have an Ace plus one other card higher than any other card in your hand (a “natural” or strong hand), you’re considered to be ahead even if the dealer has a natural or strong hand too (unless they hit on their first two cards which would give them a straight). So long as you don’t draw another card worse than what you already have (a total value of 10 or less), you’re likely to win even if the dealer has at least one higher-value card too (although this doesn’t always happen).

Double Deck Blackjack: Again, if you have an Ace plus one other card higher than any other card in your hand (a “natural” or strong hand), you’re ahead no matter what the dealer’s hand looks like – as long as they don’t hit on their first two cards which would give them a straight too! However, if they do hit on their first two cards which would give them a straight, then they’ll beat you regardless of what else happens since they’ll already have two higher-value cards compared to what you’ve got.

Triple Deck Blackjack: As with Double Deck Blackjack, if you have an Ace plus one other card higher than any other card in your hand (a “natural” or strong hand),you’re ahead no matter what – as long as they don’t hit on their first two cards which would give them a straight! However, if they do hit on their first two cards which would give them a straight then they’ll beat you regardless of what else happens since they’ll already have three higher-value cards compared to what you’ve got.
The takeaway from all this is that regardless of what type of Blackjack game you’re playing on DraftKings – Single Deck, Double Deck or Triple Decker – if your hands are good enough (i.e.

, include at least one Ace), then statistically speaking it’s pretty much impossible for the dealer to beat you no matter what their hands look like.
