There are five cards in poker – the two suited cards, the two community cards, and the ace. They are all ranked according to their value, which is how likely they are to be drawn in a given situation.
The two suited cards are the king and queen of clubs, which are both high-value cards. The two community cards are the two deuces – which are both low-value cards.
And the ace is always high-value.
When a player is dealt a hand of poker, they must decide which card to put into their hand – the king or the queen of clubs. If they put the king into their hand, they’re hoping to draw one of the other high-valued cards.
If they put the queen into their hand, they’re hoping to draw one of the other low-valued cards.
The other option for a player is to put the ace into their hand. This is always a high-value card, so it’s usually a good option to play it if you have it in your hand.
